RIDE Flies!!
You are invited to an open rehearsal of RIDE, a boundary-breaking new work for dancers, aerialists, horses and riders at Mistover Farm, Pawling, New York.
June 7, 2008 at 2:00 pm.
We will be performing new material developed during a ten-day workshop with choreographer Paula Josa-Jones, dancer and aerialist Paola Styron, dancers Ingrid Schatz, Deanna Pellecchia, Dillon Paul and three horses and riders.
Also participating will be Escorial, the liberty trained horse belonging to equine trainer Sarah Hollis. Escorial wears no bridle or saddle and is trained to dance in response to cues from the dancer's movements.
The workshop and rehearsal take place in Mistover Farm's large indoor arena, with aerial equipment by Flying by Foy, well known masters of theatrical flight using the patented Track On Track system, which allows two operators to independently control lift and travel of the aerial performer.

The rehearsal will last approximately 75 minutes, followed by refreshments and an opportunity to meet with the artists.
