Paula Josa-Jones MA, CMA, RSME/T is a dancer, rider, choreographer and movement educator/therapist with thirty years of experience teaching movers of all ages and experience levels. Her passion is in seeing the possibility for movement and dance in every moment, and for bringing an embodied awareness and aliveness into the body at the cellular level.
Paula is a Certified Laban Movement Analyst and registered Somatic Movement Therapist/Educator, and Tellington TTouch® Practitioner. In addition to working privately with individuals, she teaches classes in Authentic Movement, improvisation, composition, Bartenieff Fundamentals and Laban Movement Analysis. Her work has been profoundly influenced by her collaborations with the composer Pauline Oliveros, whose Deep Listening strategies are an integral part of the way she sees and develops movement. She has studied with Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen (Body-Mind Centering), Patricia Walden and Zoe Stewart (Iyengar Yoga) and Stefan Knight (Pilates).
