Classes Include:
  • A Thousand Voices: revolutionary approaches to the body as source
  • listening strategies: radical perception in action
  • embodying attention and intention
  • the container and the contents
  • deepening personal imagery
  • performative authenticity
  • obsession and restraint

  • "Thank you for a marvelous residency. The work you created for our students is potent, passionate and fascinating. Through your classes and rehearsals our students became bold and fearless performers in a sumptuous circus of dreams and fantasies."
Gary Shore, Associate Professor of Dance and Performance Studies, Roger Williams University

"I cannot tell you how happy I am that you agreed to come to Curry to teach Circo Folle! The students have learned SOOOOO much in such a short time, they are really working hard and out of their comfort zone, but pushing themselves and opening up in ways that are vital. You are a wonderful teacher and leader. What a gift that we could make it work."
Alissa Cardone, Former Chair, Dance Department, Curry College

"Paula's teaching style is rare. It's the balance of yin/yang. Paula does not come from ego. She is truly interested in understanding and supporting her students, and passing along her wisdom while being open to what she can learn in the moment. She's amazing. Fabulous experience."
    Lisa Daigle

Thank you so much for the opportunity to work with you again. I am so happy to have experienced the magic of Circo Folle - not only a great training exercise for me, but a challenging performance, and a fun experience! It is always such a pleasure to study under you, and I look forward to doing so again in the future.
